Missi Chenier

Missi is a devoted student of yoga who has spent years exploring the practice as a path back to steadiness in the midst of life’s chaos. Her work is rooted in the understanding that even in the most overwhelming seasons, there is always access to breath, awareness, and inner calm.
A certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) and E-RYT 500, with a specialization in Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra, Missi offers a deeply therapeutic and compassionate approach. She is especially drawn to supporting those navigating stress, caregiving, and health challenges—spaces where the nervous system is often overworked and under-supported. She is the creator of Yoga for Caregivers and Meditation and Mindfulness for Cystic Fibrosis, and the founder of Santosha Yoga Therapy, where her work centers on healing, resilience, and sustainable practices for everyday life.
On retreat, Missi holds space for you to slow down, soften, and reconnect—no matter what you are carrying. Her classes weave together gentle movement, restorative stillness, and intentional breathwork to help regulate the body and quiet the mind. She offers practices that guide you toward a place of ease, clarity, and grounded presence.
