Reimagining Our Relationship with the Land

In a time of ecological crisis, how do we move beyond despair toward a grounded, faithful response? Join us for Earthbound, a transformative weekend retreat dedicated to the intersection of faith, climate justice, and sustainable living.

We are honoured to welcome Dr. Grace Ji-Sun Kim, renowned theologian and author, as our keynote speaker. Drawing from her latest work, Earthbound, Dr. Kim will lead us in exploring eco-theology—inviting us to reconsider our spiritual connection to the planet and our collective responsibility to advocate for a more just and resilient world.

The Weekend Experience

This retreat is designed to be more than a lecture series; it is an immersive “learning lab.” Over the course of the weekend, we will bridge the gap between theory and practice through:

  • Active Learning at Crieff Hills Farm: Experience the land as a classroom. We will use our onsite organic farming initiatives as a hands-on laboratory to discuss ecological restoration and sustainable food systems.

  • Theological Discussion: Engage in deep-dive sessions on how eco-theology provides a framework for modern climate activism and spiritual groundedness.

  • Connection with Nature: Dedicated time is woven into the schedule for quiet reflection, forest walks, and mindful presence within the natural beauty of the Crieff Hills acreage.

  • Community Building: Gather with a like-minded community of seekers, activists, and neighbours to share stories, challenges, and hope for the future.

Farm-to-Table Hospitality

Nourishment is a central part of the Earthbound experience. All guests will enjoy full meal service prepared by our farm-to-table kitchen. Each menu is thoughtfully crafted using seasonal ingredients, many of which are grown right here on our farm, embodying the very principles of sustainability we will explore together.

Come prepared to listen, learn, and dig your hands into the soil as we seek a path forward together.
